Cape Breton

The icy cliffs, the rustic red roofs, and the strong fishing boats all mesmerized my heart. It wasn’t just one thing about the place, but each detail.  Some may say that town was asleep for winter, but underneath the silence I could hear the fiery promise.  The winds of winter storm matched the winds of the Spirit calling hearts alive. In the midst of a cold place I encountered the warm hearts of loyal and dedicated people. People who didn’t let the battle scares stop their hearts from blossoming to include others.

This is the Cape Breton Awakening, the gray places are coming to color. I believe there is a turning of the tide, and that where Cape Breton was known as a spiritually thin place for the occult, it will become an island known for powerful moves of the Holy Spirit.  I believe that this is the harvest time, and that we will see personal and corporate revival in Cape Breton.

For many years I lived in the heaviness of depression and the prison of hopelessness.  I knew what it was to be anxious, I knew the loneliness of a crowd. I have experienced the transformation only Holy Spirit can bring.  Papa God told me a long time ago that I would be an ambassador of this freedom, that I would go many places to bring the color of abundant life. Cape Breton is one of the places that I know I will return to time and time again. When I am an old lady I will return to this island and reminisce about the transformation that I witnessed with my own eyes.
